Dell BirchChairman
Dell is currently a director and senior consultant for JM Family Enterprises responsible for enterprise business transformation with a primary focus in F & I, commercial and consumer financing, operations, strategy, technology, and customer service/experience centers. Dell was the executive director strategy and chief information officer at Celebration Church; a global church with over 20 locations across the Americas, Europe, and Africa. Dell has also served in bi-vocational aspect, both in marketplace and ministerial leadership. In ministry, Dell has led the design and development of campus development globally, new church launches, church expansions, and ministry development on a strategic and tactical level. He is also an ordained pastor and has served in pastoral leadership roles. Dell holds a Ph.D. in Organization and Management, a M.S. and B.S. in Technology Management. He also holds a Lean Master, Lean Six Sigma Master Black Belt certification, and an Airframe and PowerPlant license. He has co-authored articles on mentoring, leadership, and small business development. |
Lisa JohnsonCo-Chair + Executive Director
Lisa Johnson, Owner of LDJ Life Coaching, LLC and Executive Director of LDJ Ministries, has years of experience working with and coaching people. Lisa is a Certified Personal & Executive Coach through the Coaching and Positive Psychology (CaPP) Institute. Lisa has a passion for the people of Zimbabwe. She had done 5 trips to Zimbabwe since 2009. Lisa's has spoken at Conferences as well as a youth conference in Zimbabwe. She has a Bachelor’s Degree in Social Psychology. Lisa is a seasoned professional with over 20 years of international experience across multiple functions and industries working with and coaching people. Extensive experience in nonprofit organizations; to include startup, funding, partnerships, operations, development and growth. Savvy at developing key relationships that blend community & nonprofit organizations with local city & state representatives and constituents. Lisa is an excellent communicator, results oriented, and a disposition that has the ability to handle adversity & operate efficiently in high-pressured situations. Lisa has a heart for hurting and broken people. She desires to see people be who God created them to be. She loves to encourage people and cheer them on their journey in life. |
Joyce JonesSecretary
As a teenager, Jones fell in love with non-profits when she volunteered at a non-profit summer camp and went on many missions trip. She continued to volunteer at various summer camps during her college years. These experiences helped her develop a passion and love for young people. She received her bachelor’s degree in Secondary Education and a Master Degree in Educational Leadership. She currently serves as a dean in one of the largest schools in Florida and coach educators in professional development. Jones is also a small business owner and avid world traveler. The vision of LDJ Ministries and its talented individuals are what attracted her to LDJ Ministries. She brings her expertise, excitement, passion and 20 years experience at various levels of leadership in private and public education. She, along with her teenage son, continue to give back to various communities in her work with at risk youth as she empowers and inspires students, teachers, parents and caregivers to help propel them to success. She is deeply driven and inspired to live a life of service and significance that will impact eternity. |
Brian MaischTreasurer
Brian Maisch is happily married to Ellae. They have have two beautiful little girls. Their names are Eliza and Hannah. Brian is currently working as a supplier quality engineer for an Aviation company in Jacksonville, FL but has held many volunteer positions at local churches throughout the years. He and Ellae have a passion for outreach and missions. They have been on mission trips to Africa several times, and hope to take their girls there at some point in the future. They are thrilled to be able to support any work that the Lord is doing over there! |
Velveeta ColemanBoard Member
Velveeta worked for the Department of the Navy and Air Force as a Program Coordinator, Spouse Employment Specialist, Transition Assistance Program Manger, Education Services Facilitator and Work & Family Life Supervisor, before retiring from federal service in April 2018 after 27 years. During her 27 years of service, the programs she supervised and workshops she facilitated touched the lives of many. It is dedication and focus, which has made Velveeta Bell Coleman known, loved and recognized internationally as a shepherd to those in need of care and nurturing. At the root of Velveeta’s qualities is her giving nature. She gives of her love, time and substance to help others in need. Through the ministries she oversees, comfort has been provided to the poor and destitute in England, Portugal, Spain and West Africa. She has ministered and provided leadership training at churches throughout the United States, Europe, Africa and Asia, and is currently mentoring believers throughout the world. |
